Pasting your own case

Put the patient information first — age/sex, HPI, PMH, medications, vitals, exam, labs — then your numbered questions (or “Phase 1 / Intra-operative” sections) below it. The app automatically splits the stem the candidate sees from the exam questions.

Already have the three-part ## PART 1: / ## PART 2: / ## PART 3: generator format? It’s split exactly, with no AI cost, and the confidential examiner script (PART 3) stays hidden from the stem.

Optional API keys — leave the Anthropic and Groq fields blank to run on the community key where offered. The community key has a small daily budget and can occasionally be depleted; if a mode stops working, enter your own key here. Keys are kept in memory only and never saved.

How to get a free Groq key

Go to console.groq.com and sign up (free, no credit card).
Open API Keys → Create API Key.
Copy the key (it starts with gsk_) and paste it above.

Groq's free tier has daily limits. If you hit them, wait for the daily reset or add an OpenAI API Key above as a paid transcription backup.

Omi API Key (optional — medical speech-to-text, used instead of Groq)

Omi's model is tuned for medical terminology (drug names, doses, conditions). If a key is entered here — or the server has one — transcription tries Omi first and falls back to Groq automatically. Omi is currently a research preview.
